Common questions
Yes — and it's worth understanding why. Each capsule contains 40mg of a 50:1 Ginkgo extract, which is the equivalent of 2000mg of the dried leaf. The same number, expressed two different ways. Either is correct.
Plenty of UK supermarket bottles describe just 60mg or 120mg leaf-equivalent. Both can be honest products — just at meaningfully lower doses. We chose the higher end of the traditional range because, frankly, if a botanical's worth including, it's worth including properly.
For most people, one capsule a day with food and water is the right starting point — with breakfast or lunch, not too late in the day. That's also the dose the bottle is priced around: 90 capsules, three months at one a day.
Some people prefer to take up to three. Don't exceed three. If you're not sure, the simplest, calmest approach is one a day, every day, for at least six weeks before deciding whether to adjust.
Almost certainly not. This is a B-vitamin complex with a traditional botanical added — not a stimulant. There's no buzz, no jolt. We think that's a feature, not a flaw.
Most people start to feel the everyday difference between weeks three and four, with the steadier baseline arriving from week six onwards. The B vitamins in this formula contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal mental performance, and to normal psychological function — effects that build with consistent daily use rather than appearing within an hour.
If you're after something that kicks in by lunchtime, this isn't the right product. Have a coffee.
Different shape of formula, different person it suits.
Lion's Mane is built around a single mushroom extract with added Acerola Vitamin C. The Vitamin C contributes to normal psychological function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It's a calmer, simpler proposition — one ingredient, properly dosed, plus a vitamin to ground it.
Ginkgo Biloba B+ is broader in its B-vitamin scope. The complete B-complex covers normal mental performance, normal psychological function, normal functioning of the nervous system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. More moving parts, more support.
Plenty of people take both, at opposite ends of the day. If you can only pick one: choose Lion's Mane for a simpler, single-ingredient routine, and Ginkgo B+ for the broader B-vitamin foundation.
A few honest reasons to pause before ordering. Better to find out now than once the bottle arrives.
If you take blood-thinners or anti-platelet medication and haven't spoken to your pharmacist, please don't add this to your basket yet. Ginkgo and warfarin in particular don't get on. A two-minute conversation with your pharmacist costs nothing — and there's more on this in the medication question below.
If you expect to feel something within the first week, this isn't the product. Like most botanicals, ginkgo is a slow, steady build — three to four weeks for most people, six for the proper baseline.
If you specifically want a plain, single-ingredient ginkgo capsule, ours isn't that. We pair it with a full B-vitamin complex by design — because the B vitamins do most of the everyday work and the ginkgo sits on top.
None of that put you off? Then you're probably the right sort of customer for this one.
Please speak to your GP or pharmacist before you start. Ginkgo can interact with certain medications — in particular blood-thinners and some antidepressants — and your healthcare professional is best placed to advise on your individual circumstances.
This also applies if you're being treated for a long-term condition or are about to undergo surgery. As a rule of thumb, supplements should be paused around two weeks before scheduled surgery; ask your surgical team for the specifics.
Manufactured in the United Kingdom in a BRC AA Grade certified facility — the highest food safety grade available — following GMP code-of-practice procedures. Every batch is fully traceable, and a Certificate of Analysis is available on request for any batch number.
The capsules are vegan (HPMC plant-based shell). No artificial colours. No unnecessary fillers — brown rice flour as the bulking agent and a small amount of rice extract as a natural anti-caking agent. Nothing else.
No. Ginkgo Biloba is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're trying to conceive, please speak to your GP first.
Each bottle contains 90 capsules. At one a day — the most common dose — that's three months. At three a day, it's a month.
Because the B-vitamin support is at its best with consistent daily intake, we'd suggest reordering before you run out rather than stopping and starting. The work is in the routine.
We offer free express UK delivery on every order.
If you change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to return any unopened, unused and sealed bottles for a refund, in line with our returns policy.

Most people who take this aren't chasing a hack. They're after something quietly grown-up to add to the morning routine — one capsule with breakfast, the kind of thing you keep doing without thinking about it.
That's exactly what this is for.
Most ginkgo bottles you'll find on a UK shelf contain only ginkgo. We took a different view. Each capsule includes a complete B-vitamin complex at meaningful, mostly-100%-NRV doses — because the B vitamins are the ones that quietly hold up the everyday.
Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance — the kind of clarity that helps you keep up with what you've got on, and stay there.
Folate, B6, B12 and Niacin all contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue — for a steadier sense of energy across the day, less of that mid-afternoon lull.
Niacin, Biotin, B6, B12, Riboflavin, Thiamine and Folate all contribute to normal psychological function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system — the foundations of feeling like yourself.
On the label you'll see 2000mg of Ginkgo, which can sound enormous compared with the 60mg or 120mg you'll see on cheaper bottles. Both numbers can be honest. They describe the same thing in different ways.
Our extract is concentrated at a 50:1 ratio. Forty milligrams of that extract delivers the equivalent of two grams of dried leaf. So we list both: 2000mg leaf-equivalent, from 40mg of the extract itself. It's the meaningful number, written plainly.
If a botanical's worth including, it ought to be included properly — or not at all.
Most UK supermarket Ginkgo sits at 30–120mg leaf equivalent. Properly traditional preparations sit much higher. We chose the higher end on purpose.
Doses are at meaningful levels — mostly 100% NRV per capsule, which is the threshold that earns each B-vitamin its specific authorised health claim. No padding, no fillers, no marketing fairy dust.
NRV = Nutrient Reference Value. Riboflavin contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Thiamine contributes to the normal function of the heart. Niacin, Biotin, Pantothenic acid, B6, B12, Riboflavin and Thiamine all contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Ginkgo — the Maidenhair tree — is one of the oldest living tree species on Earth. It pre-dates flowering plants by tens of millions of years, and individual trees can live well over a thousand. It survived a mass extinction. It survived Hiroshima.
A formula that draws on a plant which has, by any reasonable measure, worked things out.
Food supplements are intended to support a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. They are not a substitute for either. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of young children.
What to expect
One capsule a day, with breakfast. The routine is forming. You may not notice anything yet, and that's normal — your daily B-vitamin intake is building up to a steady, consistent level. The work is happening; the noticing comes later.
This is where most people first say "actually, hang on — this is doing something." Folate, B6, B12 and Niacin contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, which often shows up as the afternoon dip arriving later, or not arriving at all. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance — the small everyday things feeling a touch less effortful.
With consistent daily use, the support tends to feel like a quiet baseline rather than a peak. Most regular users describe it as just feeling a bit more like themselves — particularly in the parts of the day that used to feel hardest. Not a transformation. An improvement.
“I originally bought this because I felt mentally all over the place. Not in a dramatic way — just that constant feeling of having too many tabs open in my head.
Work was busy, home was busy, and I kept having those moments where I’d walk into a room and forget why I was there, or lose track of what I was doing halfway through something.
After a few weeks, I felt more settled mentally. A bit clearer, a bit less scattered.
It wasn’t a huge sudden change. It was more that the day felt easier to stay on top of.
I still have busy days, obviously, but I don’t feel quite so foggy by the afternoon. For me, that’s been the main difference.”
Results vary from person to person. Most people use this as part of a steady routine and review how they feel over time.
If your mind feels full before the day has properly started, this is often the kind of support people are looking for.
